Humility

Nature has a way of inspiring humbleness and awe, reminding us of just how small we really are.

      • Where is this place? It looks like the Philippines? Or some where close to there. They have so many islands. I would love to live there and on the water in a boat. 🙂

      • That was going to be my second guess.
I have watched a documentary on that area. It is so beautiful. I would love to go scuba diving there!
How are the people there? What do they think about americans and tourists? I wouldn’t mind living there and I miss the boat. 🙂
(I am having problems with our internet this morning, so if I wrote this twice..thats why. )

So, how are the people there? Do they care much for americans or tourists? Just curious. I might take off for there someday and jusy stay!

      • I had the good fortune of traveling with people native to Thailand, so I had more of an insider experience, but I was still obviously a tourist and had only positive experiences. Tourism is huge in the larger cities though, so I got the impression that people are used to it and can appreciate the economical boost the tourists provide. At some attractions there are separate lines for tourists so they can charge you more. 😋

      • I forgot to say Tristan Jones lived there. He is a good writer and I loved to read his books.
He was a sailor and had so many experiences to tell. It made me tired. Lol….
So if you like sailing, read his books. 😉

      • It Is very different thing to sail a boat.
There is not much to compare It to. It is very quiet and relaxing just to hear the waves against the boat and maybe wind In the sails. I miss it.
I have some great memories of it. Maybe I will write some of them. I don’t know if people would even be interested in them. 🙂
